Fall vs. Spring
The academic components of our semester programs are strongly differentiated.
The Spring semester program is designed for students with a higher level of Spanish. The only language class offered in the spring program is Spanish Conversation, and all classes are taught in Spanish by university faculty. In order to participate in the spring semester program, the student applicant must have completed up to Intermediate Spanish 2, or test sufficiently high in a placement test.
Fall semester, however, although equally attractive to the student interested in an immersion experience (many of the same classes are offered), does not require having completed Upper Intermediate Spanish or demonstrating an equivalent level of proficiency. The fall program has a broader offering of language classes, and more importantly, the option of combining Spanish language classes with several classes offered in English.
Agreement of Collaboration with the University of Valladolid (UVA), Segovia Campus
