Classes at the University of Valladolid follow the European system for granting credits known as the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Classes in this system may vary in the number of ECTS credits they carry, and those credits will be interpreted by CEHS and converted to the U.S. system as a recommendation of its equivalence in the U.S. system. Nevertheless, the final decision about the U.S. equivalence of ECTS credits is made by the American university.
