SHORT TERM PROGRAMS ( 3-6 weeks)

The Center also organizes and hosts short term programs generally ranging anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks in length. Such programs can take place during Winter term (usually January) or in summer (May through July).

The short term programs offer all of the same features: strong academics, family stays, excursions, Computer and Internet Access, and language exchanges. In addition, a member of the guest university's faculty is invited to accompany the group, and the budget will include the payment of a stipend to this person for teaching one class, and pay for his/her airfare and lodging costs (not including meals).

Naturally, given the shorter length of the programs, there would be fewer long excursions, and fewer classes offered (usually 2 or 3). Nevertheless, the classes and cultural excursions to be offered are determined in consultation with the guest institution.
